9 अप्रैल 2026 केँ जारी कयल गेल सर्कुलर द्वारा केन्द्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड, नई दिल्ली सब CBSE सँ जुड़ल स्कूल केर हेड लोकनि लेल 7 दिनक भीतर कक्षा 6ठा सँ कुल 3 गोट भाषा पढ़ेबाक निर्देश जारी कयलक अछि । एहि 3 भाषा मे सँ अंग्रेजीक अतिरिक्त भारतक मूलभाषा (नेटिव लैंग्वेज) शामिल करबाक अनिवार्यता लागू कयलक अछि । एहि तरहें आब सीबीएसई सँ आबद्ध विभिन्न विद्यालय मे मैथिलीभाषाक पढ़ाइ सुलभ होयत । एहि सँ मैथिलीभाषी छात्र केँ अपन भाषाक विषय-वस्तु सिलेबस मुताबिक पढ़बाक अवसर भेटतनि आ एकर भरपूर लाभ ओ सब भविष्य मे उठा सकता । निर्धारित सिलेबस आ लक्षित उपलब्धि सहित सम्पूर्ण सर्कुलर केर मैथिली सारांश एहि ठाम उपलब्ध अछि ।

स्कूल एजुकेशन केर लेल नेशनल करिकुलम फ्रेमवर्क (NCFSE-2023) मल्टीलिंगिज़्म केर महत्व पर जोर दैत अछि तथा R1, R2, R3 मॉडल केर अन्तर्गत दु मूल भारतीय भाषा केँ पढ़ेबाक सुझाव दैत अछि, जेकर उद्देश्य सिखयवला (छात्र सब) मे भाषाक काबिलियत, सांस्कृतिक समझ आर राष्ट्रीय एकता केँ बढ़ावा देनाय अछि ।
CBSE स्कीम ऑफ़ स्टडीज़ 2026–27 जारी कय देने अछि तथा R3 केँ क्लास VI 2026-27 सँ लागू कयल जा रहल अछि । पता चलल अचि जे कतेको स्कूल स्कीम ऑफ़ स्टडीज़ केर अनुसार R3 केँ लागू करब पहिनहिं सँ शुरू कय चुकल अछि । बाकी सब स्कूल केँ ई सर्कुलर जारी हेबाक तारीख सँ 7 दिनक भीतर एकर पालन पक्का करबाक निर्देश देल जाइत अछि ।
भारतक संविधान मे कहल गेल भाषा सब मे R3 केर किताब जल्दिये उपलब्ध करा देल जायत । हालांकि, स्कूल केँ निर्देश देल जाइत अछि जे ओ NCFSE-2023 मे बतायल गेल योग्यता सभक अनुसार, स्थानीय रूप सँ उपलब्ध किताब/सामग्री केर प्रयोग कय केँ, क्लास VI सँ R3 पढ़ेनाय तुरन्त शुरू करय, जे आसान रेफरेंस केर लेल एहि सर्कुलरक संग एनेक्सर 1 मे सेहो अटैच अछि ।
स्कूल केँ अपन चुनल गेल R3 भाषा केँ फाइनल कयकेँ अपना-अपना रीजनल ऑफिस केँ बतेबाक होयत, आर एकरा OASIS मे सेहो अपडेट करय पड़त । इहो कहल जाइत अछि जे सिर्फ़ वैह R3 भाषा जे कोनो स्कूल क्लास VI मे शुरू कयलक अछि, ओहि स्कूल केर वास्ते क्लास IX आ X मे ऑप्शन केर रूप मे उपलब्ध होयत ।
सम्बन्धित रीजनल ऑफिसर अपन अधिकार क्षेत्रक स्कूल सब मे R3 केँ लागू करबाक रिकॉर्ड रखता आर क्लास VI मे देल जा रहल R3 ऑप्शन केर जानकारी एकत्रित करबाक लेल शीघ्रातिशीघ्र स्कूल सब सँ सम्पर्क करता ।
सब स्कूल केँ सलाह देल जाइत अछि जे ओ सब R3 केँ बिना कोनो विलम्ब केँ गम्भीरता सँ लागू करय । स्कूल सब केँ एकरा तुरन्त आर प्रभावकारी ढंग सँ लागू करबाक लेल सब जरूरी डेग उठेबाक चाही ।

Subject: Introduction of R3 in Class VI as per the CBSE Scheme of Studies 2026–27
Dear Principal,
The National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCFSE-2023) emphasizes the importance of multilingualism and recommends the teaching of two native Indian languages under the R1, R2, R3 model, aimed at promoting linguistic proficiency, cultural understanding, and national integration among learners.
The Scheme of Studies 2026–27 has been released by CBSE and R3 is being implemented from class VI 2026-27. It has been learnt that many schools have already initiated the implementation of R3 as per the Scheme of Studies. All remaining schools are hereby directed to ensure compliance within 7 days from the date of issuance of this circular.
The textbooks for R3 in the languages enumerated in the Constitution of India will be made available shortly. However, schools are directed to start teaching R3 from Class VI immediately, using locally available books/materials, strictly in accordance with the competencies prescribed in NCFSE-2023, which are also attached with this circular at annexure 1 for ready reference.
Schools are required to finalise and notify their respective Regional Offices of their chosen R3 language(s), and also update the same in the OASIS. It is further informed that only those R3 languages which are introduced in Class VI by a school will be available as options in Classes IX and X for that school.
The respective Regional Officers will maintain a record of the implementation of R3 in schools under their jurisdiction and will be approaching schools shortly to collect the details of R3 options being offered in class VI.
All schools are advised to introduce R3 earnestly and without any further delay. Schools must take all necessary measures to ensure immediate and effective implementation.
This may be treated as urgent and mandatory.
